 Vicki Ellen Behringer is also known for her work
with composite sketches from witness descriptions. Her listening skills accompanied by her talent as an
artist make her sketches the perfect tool for helping private investigators,
attorneys, and law enforcement find the person they are looking for. Unlike the
black and white computer-generated artwork we are familiar with, Behringer is
convinced that incorporating color along with the full body, profile, and, of
course, the regular full-face view is essential to having your best chance at
locating your suspect or witness. This
is especially important, since what witnesses often remember can be more than
just the face, but can also include the skin tone, the body build, stature and
even the clothing! Behringer will
travel to her clients and provide whatever is needed in that particular case.
She has proven to be especially helpful to defense attorneys who need her
services but don’t necessarily want the prosecution to know who they are
looking for, such as the “person who really committed the crime”, or a
witness to prove their client was somewhere else.
